The Palo Alto County Gaming Corp. will distribute proceeds through two distinct grant programs.

The PACGDC will distribute the majority of its funds through the grant process.  Once an organization has been awarded a grant, they will be required to sign a grant agreement and file progress and final reports. The grant application as well as the required reporting documents are available for download on this page. Grant agreements will be mailed to grant recipients in March.

PLEASE NOTE: Deadline for submitting applications is December 31st. Review the application instructions and guidelines carefully. Application forms contained in this PDF MUST be used.

In addition to the grant process, the PACGDC has made the decision to distribute one-sixth of its proceeds to the cities in the county based on population.  The cities of Emmetsburg, Graettinger, West Bend, Ruthven, Mallard, Ayrshire, Cylinder, Rodman, and Curlew will receive these funds upon receipt of signed grant agreements.

Grant Agreements will be mailed to the cities following the Annual Award Celebration.

Cities Final Grant Report

City grant funds may be retained for up to five years. The city must submit a written request to PACGDC with a statement of general purpose for which grant funds will be used. If grant funds are retained, grantee must report to PACGDC on PACGDC's report format. The report is due and must be postmarked no later than December 31st of each year. if grant funds are not used in the time period specified, all unused funds and interest will be returned to PACGDC.
